I think, if I were to get my fiance to help me with car stuff I would have to kidnap a few members of her family. She most certainly doesn’t give a shit about it at all.

Thinking about this logically, though - are there any members you would thus kidnap that would be better at helping? What I’m saying is, why not get more skilled labor and cut out the middle man?

My girlfriend couldn’t even be bothered to wash her own car.

Unless we get stuck on the side of the road, the comfort of the passenger seat is all that matters.

Fiancee: “Oh no! Alright, I’ll do anything you wan-...wait, your who kit on the n-what?”

Fiancee: “Honey, no. Sorry bro, but there’s just no way. Go on ahead and waste’em, I’m gonna go watch some more downtown abbey.”

I think it’s just as much parents these days. I often had to help my dad with stuff I had no desire to do when I was younger. He could have just as easily told them to get their ass outside, huff and puff until you get a headache if it makes you feel better, and remind them I’m not asking you. That’s usually how it worked with me and my dad.

Regardless, kids these days can be pretty shitty.

Change turbo to Twinscrew sc, N54 to M54, and Downtown Abbey to Cheers and we’ve essentially got it.

*weeps*

I mean, her brother and dad for sure, but I’d rather not fuck them.

I wish I had your problems. My co-worker (single mom) usually comes to me (bachelor) for parenting advice or opinions on which anti-depressant she should be on. I have no experience in either...my only parenting skills come from raising my cat and I only take multivitamins.

When people complain I run them through a mental flow chart:

Are you on fire right now?

No -> Stop complaining, it could be worse.

Yes-> You have a valid reason to complain. Continue.

My wife would help me if I asked her but she wouldn’t like it and she’d make me aware of this fact.

One day I washed and waxed my wife’s car and cleaned out the interior, washed all the windows the whole deal and she didn’t even notice.

This makes no sense. You should hide under your desk when she comes around. Do not sleep with that lady under any circumstances.

And lemme guess... that it’s a heated seat as well?

I’ve noticed that women really like heated seats. I personally never use them. My ass is hot enough as it is... LOL

Looking after a cat isn’t that different compared to looking after a child. I have both. The big difference is cats are cheaper and never talk back.

As for anti-depressants... suggest marijuana... LOL.

I have little knowledge of antidepressants like you.

I’m betting that the real reason she’s asking you is because she likes you but doesn’t know what else to discuss to start a conversation with you.

My cat talks back and will piss on my doormat if she is really upset.

No, her reason for talking to me is she is obviously lonely and even my cold shoulder and brief responses is better than being alone in her office. She chased everyone else out of her office spaces with her ranting. Anti-depressants is really a conversation starter? Whooooboy.

Her current plan is to put her kid in military school and then go world traveling. I just shake my head and turn up the Stones.

I recently did something to my girlfriends car and she hasn’t noticed yet, but in my defense, I did it while she was away on purpose because I didn’t want it to be very obvious. Cost me a pretty penny, but if I was here to complain about what it cost, I wouldn’t have bothered doing it.

(She reads oppo from time to time, so I can’t be too specific).

“My cat talks back and will piss on my doormat if she is really upset.”

My cat sort of whines and complains if I don’t give him enough attention. But it’s cuuuute. He’s never done the piss thing.

“Anti-depressants is really a conversation starter? Whooooboy.”

LOL. Well I’m not suggesting she’s a great conversationalist.

So like you’re not interested in asking her out then?

ROFLOL.

“Her current plan is to put her kid in military school and then go world traveling.”

Sounds more like ‘running away from life responsibilities’. I’m sure her kid will love her for it... not.

When I was with my fiancee this was also true. I never got her to help on car stuff, no interest and never wanted to on her part.

She had a girlfriend whom was a big car nut, I’d just get her to come over and help haha.
